FAQ
I'm new and unsure if I should be attending group classes or privates. How should I get started?
There is no one right answer here - it all depends on your priorities and budget. A rule of thumb is that if you are recovering from injury or dealing with chronic pain, it is wise to start with private sessions. Many people get hooked on private training (there is nothing like having an expert's undivided attention) and never stop, but some people love the energy of a group class and progress to it once they're in a more stable place. If private sessions aren't sustainable for your budget long-term, you can communicate with your trainer and come up with a plan to progress to group classes.
Do I need any prior experience?
Absolutely not! All experience levels are welcome. If it's your first time, no stress: that's what the trainer is there for - to help and guide you. The Oasis is proud to be a welcoming place for those of all fitness levels to come and luxuriate in self-care. Come as you are, no prior experience needed.
I'm injured: can I still work out?
It really depends. Usually, as long as you've been cleared by a doctor, the answer is yes. Depending on your doctor's recommendations, we can either create a program that avoids the injured area, or works to restore movement and strength there. If you're recovering from an injury, you'll want to book a free consultation or email us to discuss. We highly recommend speaking to a doctor if you're unsure.
