REFORMER & STRENGTH

Our signature class, Reformer & Strength is the only group class in Oakland that combines the precision of Reformer Pilates with functional strength training.

 

Class usually begins and ends on the Reformer, with a few sets of weight lifting in-between.

Always wanted to lift weights and didn't know where to start?

Or maybe you already lift, but you're not sure if you're executing the exercises correctly?  Then this class is for you!

REFORMER PILATES

Move slowly and precisely in Reformer Pilates, a full-body class on the Pilates Reformer.

With options to advance and modify, classes are inclusive and welcoming, so each person can find the right variation for them.

Never been on a Reformer before? It will be our honor to introduce you to this incredible machine! Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early to get a quick intro. 

VIRTUAL MAT PILATES

Join group class from the comfort of your own home.  Enjoy a full-body workout, with a strong focus on the core.

FAQ

I've never done Pilates or lifted weights before, are group classes right for me?

As long as you aren't injured, group classes can be a fun way to start your Pilates and/or strength training journey. Some people like to book a few private sessions to get more comfortable before attending group class, but it is not required. If you're injured, please submit an inquiry or book a free 15 minute consultation to discuss.

Do I need to bring anything to group class?

We do require grippy socks at the studio. If you don't have any, we have some loaner socks you can borrow for class. We also recommend bringing water.

Why can't I cancel class?

You can reschedule a class up to 72 hours before its start, but after that we do charge the full class fee. Why? Because class is limited to six people, late cancellations have a big impact on us. For the health of our small business and fairness to all our clients, we need to adhere to the cancellation policy (even though we hate charging for missed sessions!). Thank you for your understanding, and for supporting this Oakland small business. We appreciate you.
